JAMMU: Evenwhile the National Conference launched a campaign against the local
unit of BJP terming its concern on the fast changing demographic profile of Jammu province
as an attempt to communalise the situation in Jammu, new dimensions of the demographic
invasion of Jammu were brought to the notice by no less a person than the Director General
of Police in the State Sh Gurbachan Jagat. Speaking at a function organised by J&K
Institute of Public opinion on the 'Status of Militancy and The Role of J&K Police in
Tackling it' Sh Jagat revealed that, 'to accomplish its game plan ISI has pumped lot of
money Even though he tried to paint a rosy scenario by asserting that the
situation in the Valley has improved and the government is on a 'better wicket' there, his
admissions about the situation in Jammu clearly underlined the grimness of the situation
in the state. |
