The Kashmiri Biradri in Faridabad, Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad flooded us with phone calls in response to our News/Advt. regarding allotment of land to housing societies by Haryana Govt. in Faridabad. This is an unmistakable proof that Kashmir Sentinel has matured into a vital link between Kashmiris all over the globe.  The readers find Kashmir Sentinel informative and educative. Congratulations to the editorial board for offering a fortnightly that meets the exacting standards of an intellectually elite community called the 'Kashmiri  Pandits'. 

The hardships that we have been going through are in a great measure due to the absence of a socio-politically oriented periodical and the community has paid a heavy price for this missing instrument of survival.  We all live in a good big bad world and unless we make ourselves heard, we are doomed to become extinct soon. Hopefully, Kashmir Sentinel shall serve as an important component of the 'survival kit' for us all. 

In the past, the Community did have many publications like the esteemed 'Martand'. Unfortunately, the procastination that intellectual and sound individuals are often gifted with, came in the way of their survival and finance was a crippling constraint. We are in a crisis because we procastinate and we procastinate as we are in a crisis! The trick to survive for Kashmir Sentinel shall be to break this loop among recipients of the fortnightly on complementary basis. 

The Executive Committee of Kashmiri Sewak Samaj consists of gifted individuals and we are fortunate to have visionary of a leader in Shri JN Kaul. We have drawn a blue print for survival in diaspore in the form of 'The Sharika Bhawan-a multidimensional project to serve needs in varied forms. The first phase consists of a Hostel for 70 girls and more. Many more projects on the drawing board shall take practical shape soon.
